– I WENT TO A SURPRISE PARTY
My week started off last Saturday with my darling friends surprise engagement party. I’m so not into weddings and affiliated shinanigans, but I really appreciate it when it’s homely and loving, and that’s exactly what Sheena’s sister was able to pull off. A warm space full of love and making the evening about those who were being celebrated. I also took some photos.
– I TIED MY HAIR UP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR AND A HALF
Although, I don’t have pictures to prove it. Also, I took it out as soon as I was home. It’s just not me.
– I CELEBRATED A BIRTH
My darling friend, Jenny, whose blog I featured a while back had a lil’ birthday celebration at Miao. Now, I was like, Miao’s address is the same as where the once amazing It’s A House used to be. Entering the space, you can see they just bought over everything from the previous owners, which is great, because the deco is cool, lined with books that are for sale and a pool table. – I BOUGHT A COPY OF PRUFROCK
And it is so cool. I have bought every copy since the beginning, and I was a bit hesitant with the new design that this one offers. However, I pulled up my knickers and checked it out and it’s amazing. You all should definitely be supporting a movement as such – one readily wanting to publish authors of shorts stories and poems, with some other sneaky things as well.
– I GOT FILM DEVELOPED
Yoh, so I had three rolls of film (2 black, 1 colour) that I’ve for a long time. I learnt that I need a crazy amount of lighting, and that double exposure really needs to be thunk about, preferably without two pics of plants. But check them out here.
